Falsh is very difficult to trouble shoot or repair. Later to install chrome, you can see in chrome like the picture that i add. Youtube has ended up being a major pain due to false copyright claims and they need to have a close watch because a bunch of false hits can cost you.

I really didn't do any more than clean up a few things and someplace in there, both Youtube and Dailymotion started working, Sites that use Silverlight still don't work, however. I am 11.9 to provide an alternate solution that does not involve a too whole lot.

Why does flash player only work if I run firefox as root? There were an abundance of problems that sort of came all at once.
I know in that configuration Firefox will not be of much use to you but we really need to get an answer to that before trying to move on to sort out any other problems. I think there are 2 versions of Pepperflash, did you replace both?
Sorry you are feeling disillusioned with Firefox, Flash Player and the support provided. I tried to update but it didn't work.

Things have gotten worse. Once I can do that I think it will work together because none of this happened until the newest version was installed. I have clicked on the Update Now link, downloaded and installed the Adobe recommended update, multiple times, while also restarting FIrefox multiple times afterward, but FIrefox refuses to think the plugin has been properly updated. Control panel shows Flash Player 32 bit. Google [Bot] and 0 guests.
